Twin sisters Ji Shi, a geologist, and Jin Qing, an entertainer, swap lives when Jin Qing disappears. Ji Shi must pretend to be Jin, her sister’s famous girlfriend, navigating the entertainment world and a complicated relationship.
The Su family has twin daughters with very different personalities. One became a doctor of geology and the other became a star in the entertainment industry, until the day she disappears leaving a letter of resignation and a lot of damage in her wake. In desperation her twin sister is kidnapped and forced to replace her on a variety tv show. On top of trying to survive the entertainment business, she also has to pretend to be her sister with her sister’s rich and handsome VP boyfriend. What kind of sparks will these two start?
For a low-budget romcom, this was pretty fun and entertaining. Gao Hanyu is adorkably hilarious playing the “cold CEO” who finds himself completely discomposed and thrown off kilter when his fake, contract actress girlfriend suddenly becomes a strong and fearless independent woman with uncanny knowledge about subject matters he is passionate about.
